Dr. Roya Golshani

About The Doctor

After graduating from Santa Monica High School, Dr. Golshani attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies. While at UCLA, she pursued an understanding of the human experience by maintaining a balance between her studies in literature and science. Dr. Golshani continued in her path towards a career in medicine by attending UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine. She completed four years of medical school at UCLA and subsequently three years of residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center to receive her specialty degree in Internal Medicine. After her residency, Dr.Golshani was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and worked with the Cedars Sinai Medical Group before establishing her private practice. She has been at the Century City Medical Plaza, attending to patient care since 2002. Since then, Dr. Golshani has pursued additional training in the medical issues that particularly affect women, performing annual cancer screening, managing contraception and hormonal imbalances, and addressing specific gender-dependent variations in complex diseases.

Dr. Golshani's balanced education in the human condition has greatly enhanced her approach to patient care. While well trained and knowledgeable in the science of medicine, she has a genuine compassion for the human component of healthcare. She is masterful at the art of listening to and understanding patients, considering the myriad different factors that can enhance quality of life or if neglected, lead to its compromise.

Dr. Golshani is married to Dr. Payman Khorrami and has two daughters and one son. Dr. Khorrami is a specialist in Gastroenterology and the two doctors share their offices at Century City, benefiting from a daily collaboration in healthcare delivery to their patients. Dr. Golshani enjoys traveling, reading, and painting in her free time.
